This Privacy Policy explains how Apiece Inc ("Apiece," "we," "us"), Wesley Chapel, Florida, handles information across our services: the apieceinc.com website (including our client intake portal), the Pieces Jigsaw Puzzles application (iOS and piecesjigsaw.com), and related print-ordering services.
Information we collect
- Contact & account information — name, email address, phone, company details you provide through our contact form, client intake portal, or when creating a Pieces account.
- Project information — details you submit about your business and project through our intake questionnaires. We treat this as confidential client material.
- Content you upload — photos you upload to Pieces for puzzle play or print orders. Your photos remain yours; we store them to provide the service you requested.
- Purchase information — subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple (in-app) or our payment processor Stripe (web). We receive transaction records, never your full card number.
- Usage & diagnostics — app performance data, crash data, and website analytics collected through Google Analytics and Firebase.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services, including fulfilling print orders and responding to inquiries (we acknowledge portal and contact submissions within 48 hours).
- To send service emails (account, order, and submission notifications). Our notification emails are intentionally content-free where they concern portal activity.
- To understand aggregate usage via analytics. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Storage & security
Data is stored on infrastructure we control (Amazon Web Services, United States), with sensitive submissions encrypted at rest and all traffic encrypted in transit (TLS). Access is restricted, logged, and limited to what providing the service requires. Client intake data is isolated per client.
Service providers
We use a small set of processors to run our services: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery), Google (analytics, Firebase), Apple (app distribution and in-app purchase), and Stripe (web payments). Each receives only what its function requires.
Retention & your choices
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service or as the law requires. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — including your Pieces account and uploaded photos — by contacting us at the address below or through the app. Deleting your account removes your uploads from active systems.
Children
Our services are intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
